AssetWise Implementation Guide

Before You Install AssetWise SSIS Components

  1. Install SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2016 or 2019 on the computer you plan to install the AssetWise SSIS Integration components.

    Integration Services is an option of the SQL Server installer. For details, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/integration-services/install-windows/install-integration-services

  2. Make sure the SQL Agent Service is running on the primary AssetWise database server, which may or may not be where SQL Server Integration Services is installed.

    This is required for the Import Staged eB Data Task to work. You will not be able to import data via SSIS without this task and these services running.

  3. Avoid installing AssetWise SSIS Components with multiple supported and unsupported versions of SSIS and Visual Studio. For example, the components might not work properly if both Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Studio 2015 are installed.
